Itinerary: Lake St. Cassien - Fayence

Lac de St Cassien

Leaving Grasse, we will drive towards Peymeinade. From there, we cross the hinterland of Grasse for us to go directly on the banks of Lake St. Cassien. We borrow the Pre Claou bridge which crosses the middle part.
Little break to walk some moments along the lake and admire the landscape.

From there we will take the road towards Fayence.

Fayence

Fayence is a very ancient city whose history has known its ups and downs. It remains many rest of its past. His church dating of the eighteenth century became the third in Var area for its size after Saint-Maximin and Lorgues.
Today, Fayence is especially famous for its gliding and is the most important in Europe and even in the world for its number of flight hours a year (20,000).
